In keeping with our desire to keep things simple, our ADSL products are supplied over the BT Wholesale network, which covers just about every exchange in the UK with ADSL.
We will always try to provide you with the fastest service we can. This means that if you want a connection where ADSL2 is available, you will be connected to this. If your area does not have ADSL2, you will be connected to the ADSL Max product. The only exception to this is if there is Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) or Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) available in your area. As this product has a higher monthly charge and a longer contract, we feel that this decision should be your. We will advise you if this is available in your area.
We will of cause let you know which service you are being connected to and the anticipated download speed when you place your order.
All our products are rate adaptive, which means that you will have the fastest speed that your line will support. The maximum rate you could achieve is shown in the table below. Unfortunately this is not a guaranteed speed but we can provide you with an idea of what your phone line is able to support. You can find out more about our broadband commitment to you from here.
We have changed our products and have made it easier to buy what you need to suit your use and your pocket. All services start with Base, which includes 2Gb of peak and 10Gb of off peak bandwidth. You simply top up the bandwidth in units of 1Gb peak and 10Gb off peak to suit your needs. Peak bandwidth is data used Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. All other times are off peak.
Once you have picked your bandwidth, you can add other options to your connection such as additional lines for bonding or premium upgrade for faster upload speed (And/ or enhanced priority through the network, depending on service type). Bandwidth can be adjusted up or down at any time in the month without charge. Options can be added at any time during the month without charge but may be effective from your next billing date. Options can be removed with 30 days notice and will attract a £10 (Plus VAT) charge.
If you are unsure what your options are or would like to know what your potential speed could be, please contact us.
